What You'll Need:

1 whole ham with rind removed
1 can pineapple slices (rings)
whole cloves
1 cup brown sugar, packed
½ teaspoon nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place the ham in a roasting pan with the fat side up. Insert a meat thermometer through the fatty side into the thickest part of the ham.

Bake the ham 20 or 25 minutes per pound or until the meat thermometer registers 160 degrees.

With a sharp knife, score the fat diagonally about 1/8 inch deep, making a diamond pattern, put the whole cloves in the corners of the diamonds

Place the pineapple rings around the surface of the ham and hold them in place with toothpicks.

Mix the brown sugar & nutmeg with some of the meat drippings from the pan and pour over the ham and pinEapples.

Return to the oven and bake at 400 degrees until the sugar forms a glaze.

Remove toothpicks before serving.

Enjoy this delicious baked ham!
